HISTORY

In 2022, in alignment with 2 Timothy 2:2, The Gate Ministries recognized the need for an institute to enhance and accelerate its mission of spreading the gospel of the grace of God and rightly dividing the Word of Truth throughout India and beyond. Understanding the importance of sound doctrinal teaching, The Gate Ministries sought guidance from Pastor David Reid of Columbus Bible Church (CBC) in Columbus, Ohio, USA—a ministry deeply committed to preaching the gospel of grace from a Mid-Acts dispensational perspective.

With CBC’s extensive knowledge and unwavering dedication to advancing the message of grace, the Approved Workman Institute (AWI) was established to provide structured, biblically sound education. Under CBC’s guidance, AWI’s curriculum was carefully designed to equip believers with a strong foundation in dispensational truth. The institute was officially launched on March 20, 2023, with an inaugural cohort of thirty-five students, marking the beginning of a new chapter in training faithful servants of God.

Approved Workman Institute

The Approved Workman Institute is designed to accomplish two purposes:
(1) To establish believers in the faith and
(2) To equip established believers to preach the gospel of grace and the mysteries revealed to the Apostle Paul.

Students Handbook

The Student Handbook is designed to give necessary information about the admission requirements, course contents and schedules of AWI.

DESIGN

AWI is a graduate school that awards a Diploma in Advanced Dispensational Studies. Prior attainment of a bachelor's degree in theology or divinity is a prerequisite to enrollment in this program. However, AWI may waive this requirement on a case-by- case basis depending on a candidate’s spiritual maturity, experience in ministry, or other profitable circumstances.

Learning materials

All content is available 24/7 on demand. The curriculum is designed to be completed within one year, and students are expected to manage their schedule to complete the curriculum within that time frame.

  We rejoice that you have chosen to enroll in the Approved Workman Institute. Our purpose is to establish you in the faith and to equip you to preach the gospel of grace and the mysteries revealed to the Apostle Paul.
  
  The curriculum of the Approved Workman Institute is designed to solidify its students in the fundamentals of the faith, the defense of the gospel, right division, the believer’s walk, grace history, the defense of the King James Version, and local church ministry. This content will prepare you for the work of the ministry. We rejoice that you have chosen to labour with us in the most blessed work that there is on earth today.
  
  In the Approved Workman Institute, you will receive extensive instruction. We encourage you to search the scriptures regarding all that is taught so that you can prove all things, possess the riches of the full assurance of understanding, and own the truth personally due to your own labours.
